We assist arriving refugees from all countries. Initially that entails trips to the Social Security office, Department of Human Services, job interviews, etc. Later they need dental care and doctor appointments. We also assist with furniture, household items and often food. West Dallas is an area of great need. There is a small group there that runs an after-school program and also works with the homeless and poor in their community. We have participated with them since 1986 in seeking to meet the needs in that area. We are also a resource for hospitals and schools. Kosovo | Bosnia | Uganda | Mexico | USA | Ukraine
